NGC identified and coordinated collaboration between an existing client and a larger national technology firm to respond to and secure a winning bid for a $30 million technology products and services contract with one of the largest agencies in New York State. NGC succeeded in advancing and locating the nature and cause of a governmental delay and inquiry related to an economic development grant in the amount of $500,000 that was earmarked to go to a new large public benefit community project. NGC crafted a strategic policy on behalf of a professional trade association to educate, inform and lobby members of the executive branch and state legislature about an erroneous regulatory interpretation by a state agency. NGC was successful in advancing the policy and forcing a reconsideration and evaluation by the agency to the benefit of NGC’s client. NGC was selected by Michael Jones-Bey, Director of M/WBE Programs, to be a speaker and panelist on a NYS-sponsored procurement and M/WBE conference exclusively for NYS CIOs and officials in June, 2007, in Albany, New York. NGC was publicly and specifically cited at recent New York State Forum event for its pioneering and exemplary efforts at demonstrating Governor Spitzer’s policies related to woman- and minority-owned technology firms. NGC has been retained by the global leader in silicon innovation to represent its interests and further its procurement objectives in New York State. |
