  • NGC successfully identified and obtained Federal Stimulus Funds to allow for a $400M bridge and infrastructure repair project in New York City. NGC worked directly with Governor Paterson’s Office, the New York State Federal Stimulus Director, the Commissioner of the New York State Department of Transportation, the New York City Department of Transportation, the New York City Mayor’s Office, and members of the New York State Congressional Delegation to make this a reality.
  • NGC facilitated and assisted in drafting testimony and preparing a client to testify at a joint Senate and Assembly NYS Legislative hearing regarding proposed legislation.

  • NGC was successful in helping real estate development client The Spectra Group, Inc. secure $300,000 for the development of its Macedon Marketplace project, a new $23 million retail shopping center in Wayne County, NY. The announcement was made by Senator Michael Nozzolio at the groundbreaking of the new complex on Friday, September 19, 2008.  Photos
  • NGC hosted an award ceremony for NYS Comptroller Thomas P. DiNapoli on Tuesday, September 16, 2008, at the New York City Offices of NGC Client DC9, during which the Comptroller was honored for his innovation, leadership and support of organized labor. Photos
  • NGC was involved with Michael Jones-Bey and the Governor’s Office in organizing and delivering the M/WBE Conference, during which NGC clients CGI and Gateway were honored for their leadership efforts in M/WBE programs.
  •  NGC helped client New York State Acupuncture Coalition, Inc. (NYSAC) host Acupuncture Day at the Legislative Office Building in Albany, NY, during which Assemblywoman Ellen Young announced her support of the legislation drafted by NGC concerning Chinese herbs. 
  • NGC identified and coordinated collaboration between an existing client and a larger national technology firm to respond to and secure a winning bid for a $30 million technology products and services contract with one of the largest agencies in New York State.
  • NGC succeeded in advancing and locating the nature and cause of a governmental delay and inquiry related to an economic development grant in the amount of $500,000 that was earmarked to go to a new large public benefit community project.
  • NGC crafted a strategic policy on behalf of a professional trade association to educate, inform and lobby members of the executive branch and state legislature about an erroneous regulatory interpretation by a state agency. NGC was successful in advancing the policy and forcing a reconsideration and evaluation by the agency to the benefit of NGC’s client.
  • NGC was publicly and specifically cited at recent New York State Forum event for its pioneering and exemplary efforts at demonstrating NYS policies related to woman- and minority-owned technology firms. NGC has been retained by the global leader in silicon innovation to represent its interests and further its procurement objectives in New York State.
  • NGC Managing Director David S. Carroll was an invited panelist for the NYS Forum on March 28, 2008, in Albany, NY, to share his knowledge and opinions on the topic of "Direction and Assessment of the New Paterson Administration in New York State.”
  • NGC was selected by Michael Jones-Bey, Director of M/WBE Programs, to be a speaker and panelist on a NYS-sponsored procurement and M/WBE conference exclusively for NYS CIOs and officials in June, 2007, in Albany, New York.
  • NGC Managing Director David S. Carroll was recently a panelist in a program sponsored by the New York State Forum in Albany. Attended by more than fifty IT vendors, David  contributed his expertise in IT procurement lobbying regarding Governor David Paterson’s new policy initiatives relative to minority participation in IT procurements.
  • NGC was successful in identifying, lobbying for and securing a state grant totaling $1.2 million for a client interested in developing its workforce and employee training initiatives. The grant will be distributed in installments over the next several years.
